...man this was a crappy year..my world was turned upside down..church..socially..emotionally...job..decision to move back to the rents..just wanted to forget..really relied on God's strength that year..
...it looked like a good year...got to know new people..found a church..enjoyed Boston ( a little too much )

2007 REFLECTION

started off on a sour note...seriously day one..i will not bring it up..but some of you guys know
i've lost touch with some friends back in CT....been busy living in my own world.. like the saying goes.." Out of sight, out of mind"
relationships (friendships) in boston aren't as awesome like it was before..part of it b/c of lost interest and drama..things were fun when it was "Fresh" and new..and people were mysterious and interesting...now it's like.."oh~ yeah..i already know that about you" getting pass that superficial aspect of a relationship can go either way..either you learn something about a person and your like..errrr...or you're like...cool..let's be buddies !! ..and oh !..the cool one's are the bad first impressions turning into a positive after you get to know a person.. so from now on..i will not go by the first impression of someone...
danced, sang, ate, drank, smoked ( cigars only ), partied, and hungout a lot !!
became a Facebook junkie...'07 was about "tagging" and "applications" instead of "blogging" on Xanga..
jumping from job to job for experience...sbux..the Wag..culinary school ( too many changes )
building project ..huh ?? wut's that ??
went on a trip to montreal..that was fun..actually hanging out as opposed to driving through ..enjoyed the company..and enjoyed the food..mmm

30th birthday ...ew..yeah..i turned the THREE ZERO ...new age bracket i remember..original bday plan fell through..the idea having a big gi-normous bash...*blah but the company i had was great..oh yeah..puked for the second ( and my last ) time in my life ( too many shots ) and then the day of my bday...*ugh one of the suckiest days of the year..wanted to celebrate with a cigar and ice wine i was saving...*sigh didn't even get to crack it open cuz i was so depressed that day
Culinary school is not as what i expected...eh wut do you expect from a community college
Sox won again ...Celtics are flying high again..UConn football was ranked ..Pats are awesome !!
but sadly the most important insight i've come to realize is..i think i've lost touch with what Christ wants in my life...i've put him in the back seat..praying for myself is non-existing.. intercessory or group prayers is ok..but yeah.. like the other day.. i was reminding a friend that one of the purposes of prayer is to hear our own hearts and motives...( it was a reminder to myself as well ) ..to get a better sense of what's not right in your life..I need to involve Christ more in my life again..
no more distractions..!! ..so i guess i'll just let 2007 run it's course..4 more days of whatever..and then onto brighter things...
looking back at the past several years..it looks like the odd number years are the "sucky" years..and the even numbered ones are the good years... woohoo 2008 !! let's go evens !!
so i'm sitting here at school..in between classes...and drinking a can of RedBull.. ( i'm tired from studying and not enough sleep )
it's my first time...this stuff tastes similar to Bacchus-D
( the pic is of Bacchus-F .."D" is all natural ..where "F" has junk and less sugar )
so RedBull ripped off Bacchus ( yay for korean inventors!! ...boo for korean exporters and marketers )
..interesting..also RedBull is more expensive ( $2.99 compared to $0.99 )
Bacchus is all natural..and has Taurine...what the heck is Taurine..??
I looked it up...Taurine ( Taurus ) is a chemical found in Bull's semen...
but fortunately they don't put the natural stuff in RedBull...get it "redBULL" ..Taurus...
anyways..i wonder if Bacchus is all natural ??..maybe THEY use the semen ingredient ???
upon further research..Taurine has multiple effects..( weight gain, weight loss, brain development, strengthening of retina...) too many to really know which is true..
also ..the only thing that really gives you the so called "wings" in these drinks ..is the sugar and caffeine..
Dang I used to chug those bottles of bacchus when i was a kid...my dad would yell at me when i drank more than 2 bottles..
maybe i didn't have ADHD as a kid...maybe it was all that Bacchus I was chugging ..haha
btw...i'm still drowsy..and tired...shoulda bought the mountain dew ( caffeine and sugar )
3. had my 30th birthday ( partied like crazy ..knowing that birthdays are not special between the ages 31-39 )
4. decided to better myself professionally by going for an associate's degree in culinary arts at a local community college...cool thing is if i ever DO decide to go to a full fledge culinary school..credits transfer !! ( but i doubt i'll go..cuz being a small biz owner is my focus...plus culinary school is MAD expensive )
Orientation starts today...but i'm both excited..and scared cuz it's been 8 years since the last time i stepped into a class room or lecture hall...
I'm not looking forward to the text books...i hope they have a lot of pictures... cool thing is I was required to buy a knife set...$ 180 bucks...it comes in like a professional black case...i feel like a professional hitman..
